Born and raised in a suburb of Montreal, I have been greatly influenced by both the simplicity of rural life and the vibrant energy of urban living. Through my paintings, I explore the intersection of whimsy, nostalgia, and childlike awe. My canvases are a swirl of primary colors which are chosen to evoke emotion and ignite the viewer's imagination. When I am out on the road, I am often comforted by the sensation that I’m driving through one of my paintings. In this sense, I try to remind the viewer of the beauty and splendor of their own cherished recollections.
